What song opens Monday Night Football?
The song featured is a cover of Phil Collins’ hit, “In the Air Tonight.” Chris Stapleton, Snoop Dogg, and Cindy Blackman Santana are the artists behind this version of the track. A music video for the song will play at the open of every game featured on Monday Night Football. It’ll also play during the Saturday Doubleheader in week 18, the Super Wild Card, and the first Divisional playoff game.

Will Monday Night Football’s theme still play?
Yes! Deadline reports that “Heavy Action,” the iconic theme music for the program is still a part of the production. It’ll now play after “In the Air Tonight” just before the call for each game.
