was originally the date that you would
no longer be able to buy
“Pink No Information” OTC securities
through TD Ameritrade,

but that date has been pushed back.
There is not a set date for that yet,
however the amendment
will officially go into effect for everyone
on September 28.

through E*TRADE.

Other restrictions related to the purchase
of these securities may apply sooner.

will negatively affect the value

On September 28, 2021,
new requirements take effect that will impact the market
for—and value of—certain “over-the-counter (OTC) securities”
you currently hold or have held in the past.

The new rules apply to “Pink No Information” OTC securities
of companies that fail to publicly report and keep current financial
and other company information and will restrict
the ability of U.S. brokers, like E*TRADE
from making these products generally available.

Some background on the new requirements

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
recently adopted amendments to SEC Rule 15c2-11
governing the submission and publication of OTC quotations.

These amendments will prohibit broker-dealers
from submitting or publicly disseminating
bid/ask quotations for OTC securities of issuers
that do not meet enhanced information filing requirements.

Securities of issuers
that make the required information
publicly available by the deadline in the rule
should not be affected.

Market Maker Signals

Penny traders believe that Market Makers (MM)

will “signal” moves in advance buy using
small amounts of buys or sells as “signals”.

The “signals” are such a small amount of shares
(worth no more than 5 or 10 dollars) that
no trader would have paid a commission that
costs more than the amount of shares bought.

The “signals” are from one MM to another.

100 – I need shares.
200 – I need shares badly, but do not take the stock down.
300 – Take the price down so I can load shares
400 – Keep trading it sideways.
500 – Gap the stock.
This gap can be either up or down,
depending on the direction of the 500 signal.

505 – I am short on shares
600 – Means provide resistance
900 – Means let the stock float
911 – Pending News/Press Release On The Way
1000 – Don’t let it run
2100 – Let it run

Impulse Wave 1 – The Accumulation Stage
the Wave right after a prolonged downtrend.

Wave 1

The stock makes its initial move upwards.
This is usually caused
by a relatively small number of people
that all of the sudden
(for a variety of reasons, real or imagined)
feel that the price of the stock is cheap
so it’s a perfect time to buy.
This causes the price to rise.

Wave 2 – Stock Declines

At this point,
enough people who were in the original wave
consider the stock overvalued and take profits.
This causes the stock to go down.
However, the stock will not make it to its previous lows
before the stock is considered a bargain again

Wave 3

This is usually the longest and strongest wave.
The stock has caught the attention of the mass public.
More people find out about the stock and want to buy it.
This causes the stock’s price to go higher and higher.
This wave usually exceeds the high created at the end of Wave 1.

Wave 4

Traders take profits
because the stock is considered expensive again.
This Wave tends to be weak
because there are usually more people
that are still bullish on the stock
and are waiting to “buy on the dips.”

Wave 5

This is the point that most people get in on the stock,
and is mostly driven by hysteria.
You usually start seeing the CEO of the company
on the front page of major magazines
as the Person of the Year.
Traders and investors start coming up with
ridiculous reasons to buy the stock
and try to choke you when you disagree with them.

This is when the stock becomes the most overpriced.
Contrarians start shorting the stock
which starts the ABC pattern.
