The Block judge Darren Palmer weighs in on 2023’s ‘TOXIC’ drama

The Block judge Darren Palmer has weighed in on the “toxic” behaviour and bullying plaguing the latest season of the hit series.
Drama has been rife on Charming Street, with viewers raising concerns that the once-hit renovation show has become more like Married at First Sight than about building.
The main culprits have been Leah Milton and Kristy Beams, whose actions have resulted in dipping ratings and fans reporting the series to the media watchdog.
Now, longtime judge Darren is the latest to comment on what’s been playing out on the show.
In an Instagram Story Q&A following the master bedroom reveals, the 45-year-old was asked what he thinks of the “behaviour from House 2 and 3”.
“It’s fortunate we don’t hear about or see anything that happens during the week,” he said of the judges’ position.
“Keeps judging fair and subjective.”
Darren concluded: “I do not condone bullying.”

The designer’s comments come after it was revealed that an “all-out war is brewing” amongst The Block 2023 stars.
“Big problems start small and we are only being teased with the actual drama that unfolds in coming weeks,” an insider told Yahoo! Lifestyle.

They added that some of the contestants were specifically cast to lock horns, although it wasn’t predicted to be to the level that has unfolded.
“Building houses will always be the priority for the producers but even they will admit the drama between the women this year seemed to pull focus,” the source said.
