Payday 3 mission list: Every heist available

Payday 3 heists are how you make the bread and butter of your criminal enterprise. But how many heists are in the game, and what is the correct order to playing them?

The Payday series is famous for its elaborate, cinematic heists. Whether it’s burning through a giant bank vault or hijacking a plane full of money, there’s something for everyone and Payday 3 has been no different.

For Payday 3, Starbreeze Studios is bringing back that movie-like magic for the themes of its heists. So, here’s every heist available in the game and the order you can play them in.

How many heists are there in Payday 3?

There are a total of 8 heists included in the game on launch day, with all of them being set in New York City. While this seems like a low number, bear in mind these missions are quite long, taking between 15 and 30 minutes to finish, and have enough replayability that you won’t have the same experience twice.

There will also be at least four new heists added to the game post-launch, as revealed by the game’s season pass. This brings the total number of heists in the game to 12 once the season pass has released all its content.

Payday 2 originally launched with 12 heists, however most of these were small maps that were recycled several times with little variation. So while there are fewer unique maps coming with Payday 3, the game should feel a lot grander overall.

Payday 3 heists order

Payday 3 heists have a set sequence in the story mode in which they appear, however you are also free to play them in any order you wish. This means you could play the final mission if you were so inclined. These heists are also bridged with a few cinematics that tell the story.

Here is the list of heists available in the game, and the order they appear in the story.

1. No Rest for the Wicked
2. Road Rage
3. Dirty Ice
4. Rock the Cradle
5. Under the Surphaze
6. Gold & Sharke
7. 99 Boxes
8. Touch the Sky

We’ll update this list as Starbreeze releases new heists to the game. While four new missions will be available via paid DLC across its Year 1 content, it’s possible free heists will also become available.
