OPI pokes fun at Tom Sandoval being trolled for ‘ruining’ white nail polish
OPI is officially #TeamAriana.
After Glamour published an article joking that Tom Sandoval “ruined” white nail polish by making it his staple manicure color, the nail polish brand mourned the loss of their most popular white shades on Friday.
The brand’s TikTok posted photos of their nail polish bottles atop a black background, captioning them, “RIP Funny Bunny” and “RIP Alpine Snow.”
“OPI HAS GONE FERAL. I love it 💅,” one user commented, while another suggested they “rename the shades after Ariana.”
“I hate to admit I used Funny Bunny and took it off this morning,” a third revealed.
Yet they weren’t the only brand to weigh in on the drama.
Nails Inc released a brand new white shade called “For Everyone But Tom Sandoval Nail Polish” ($9) on Thursday after the wannabe rockstar went on a social media tirade over Glamour’s article.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star shared screenshots of the article before uploading them to his Instagram Stories alongside scathing messages.
“So sorry. Nothing I wear seems to ever look good on ’s,” he wrote. “At least have the courage to @ me if ur gonna talk s–t.”
“I thought ur [sic] mag was about being positive & glamorous, not trashy?” the Bravolebrity added. “Also what happens when I wear all the colors at Michigan PRIDE shows? I’d invite u, but unfortunately, we’re all sold out.”
However, the 40-year-old didn’t stop there and continued to label the piece as “a disgusting, trashy, hateful & bias article” before questioning the author’s capability as a journalist.
Yet the irony of Sandoval calling out someone’s character after cheating on his girlfriend of nearly a decade with her best friend was not lost on many.
“Throughout this season, what I know for sure is that the ONLY thing Tom Sandoval has been faithful to is the damn white nail polish,” one person tweeted.

“Tom Sandoval being more upset about someone calling out his white nail polish than cheating on his girlfriend of a decade is telling,” another wrote.
“Tom Sandoval berating a female journalist for saying he ruined white nail polish is literally all you need to know about him,” a third chimed in.
Sandoval’s months-long affair with Raquel Leviss was outed back in March after his then-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, found a NSFW video of the pair on his phone.
Fallout from the affair — dubbed Scandoval — was captured for the “VPR” Season 10 finale and subsequently played out during the three-part reunion.
“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays on at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
