Aldi describes its latest addition as a “refreshing wine cocktail” that is “summer in a glass.”
The drink is said to have citrus notes with just the right amount of fizz.
Aldi recommends pairing the drink with charcuterie or simply enjoying it on its own.
Since debuting to the public, customers have been raving about the new drink.
“Aldi is the best! Thank you for being there for me on tight-budget weeks. the prices are low but the quality is high!” one person wrote on Instagram.
“I bought two. Love me an easy Aperol,” another person commented.
“This is precisely why I love hunting in there,” a third person pointed out.
“Hallelujah, thank you, Aldi!” another shopper celebrated.
Those who are looking to try the new product should get to the store while they still can.
Aldi revealed that this is a seasonal drink, so those who want to try need to get it while supplies last.
BATTLE OF THE CREAMERS
This is not the only new addition to the grocery store.
Aldi recently expanded its line of creamers to include Simply Nature Cookies & Cream and Barissimo Salted Caramel Mocha.
Shoppers immediately sounded off online, and while many loved the Cookies & Cream, the Salted Caramel Mocha was not a fan favorite.
“How is the cookies & cream creamer so good & the salted caramel mocha so, SO bad?” they questioned in a post to Reddit.
Can you get wine at Aldi?
While Aldi has over 2000 locations, not every store is allowed to sell wine and alcohol.
The retailer is only allowed to sell alcohol in certain places that permit sales within grocery stores.
State laws typically dictate where alcohol can be sold, but it can also be regulated on the municipal level.
Due to those reasons, Aldi recommends that customers consult its store locator to determine whether they can purchase alcohol where they live.
If you live in an area that won’t allow Aldi to sell wine, it’s recommended to order your favorite refreshments online.
One person chimed in saying they are normally a huge fan of Barissimo, but thought the Salted Caramel Mocha was “yucky.”
“I was SO excited about this and it was so gross,” another noted.
A third suggested the creamer flavor was “too rich.”
Meanwhile, those who tried the Cookies & Cream flavor said it tasted great and mixed well in their coffee.
“I can attest that it is very good!” they exclaimed.
