Man Jumps To Death From Mumbai's Bandra-Worli Sea Link

Mumbai: A person died by suicide by jumping from the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Police received a call for assistance at 1 am and, upon arriving, found that a person had parked their car, got out, and jumped into the sea. Due to the darkness and high waves, the body could not be found at night. Mumbai Police informed news agency ANI that Worli Police Station received information at 7:30 am that the body of the person who had jumped was found within the jurisdiction of Dadar Police Station. Visuals on social media showed several-km-long stretches of the highway heavily packed with hardly any movement of the vehicles.Users, some of whom were present in the traffic, took to X and shared videos"The traffic on Thane Bhiwandi Bye pass on Mumbai Nashik Highway is stopped for almost one hour with no traffic officials or attention to motorists woes. This continues Year on Year. Do we citizens deserve this?" a commuter said on X."Oops! They built the trans-harbour link at the wrong location!!" wrote another. While a third user called the road on the highway a "hell". "This road is hell. Travelled two days ago and for real I was so happy to get out of the car on reaching home," he added.
