Taylor Swift has proven once again that she is a mastermind. Long before Swift, 34, wrote “But Daddy I Love Him” for The Tortured Poets Department, she shared in a 2008 Popsugar interview that she told her father that same phrase during an “epic teenage tantrum.” In the resurfaced interview, Swift talked about writing “Love Story” for her second album Fearless after an argument with her dad about a guy she was dating at the time. “I remember screaming something like 'But daddy, I love him!' and running out and storming into my room and slamming the door,” Swift recalled in the clip. “Then I sat down on the floor and wrote this song."
