While Emily Blunt has almost always rocked the brunette or blonde locks, she went back to a fan-favorite, and the internet is losing it. That’s right, in photos obtained by Page Six, we can see that she’s rocking the iconic red bob we all adored in The Devil Wears Prada.

That’s right, Blunt is back to playing Emily Charlton, and has the red bob to prove it. In the photos, we can see her channeling the fan-favorite character for the sequel, rocking a black-and-white pinstriped corset and trousers. So not only are we excited for this hair transformation, but the fact that we’ll see Blunt play Emily again!
As we mentioned, Blunt has played around with different shades of brown and blonde before, whether it be with highlights, lowlights, or just one color. The last time we saw Blunt as a redhead was back in 2006, when the first movie came back, and in 2007.

Back in 2007, she famously wowed in reddish brown curls for the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, before switching back to her usual colors.
While she’s never spoken about her hair, or the confidence she feels from it, but she did say something that definitely comes back to this. In a previous interview with Vogue, she talked about how the costume designer for The Devil Wears Prada taught her a very important lesson. She said, “I learned that from Patricia Field, our costume designer.… Just be more fierce, and wild.”
