Las Vegas Indoor Golf Complex Repairs Misting System as Region Faces Intense Heat
Temperatures should be more comfortable after Las Vegas’ recently-opened Atomic Golf got its misting system working again in time for Father’s Day on Sunday.

The pump on the system broke last month but recently was repaired, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Because of extremely hot weather outside over recent weeks, players had complained about the temperatures inside Atomic Golf.
One visitor, Carrie B. of Spring Valley, Nev., said on Yelp that when she went there last month, “There is no ac or misters in the bays. The sun is beaming right at you and even at night it’s too hot. This needs to be fixed asap.”
Another visitor, Kyla R. of Las Vegas, complained on Yelp it “was so hot. There was no AC or fans at all. I was dying in that heat.”
Before the repairs, management reportedly attempted temporary solutions such as giving guests ice towels and employing large fans.
Atomic Golf doesn’t have air conditioning due to local codes. So, guests are supposed to be kept cool by the misting system.
Lots of Layoffs
On May 22, Vital Vegas also reported how Atomic Golf Las Vegas fired some 250 employees, which represented a third of its workforce.
The operation currently doesn’t open until 4 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays.
The reductions were blamed on “financial difficulties due to lack of business levels.”
