Meet Bryce Durfee, GH's Newest Cast Member!
Please join us in welcoming Bryce Durfee to General Hospital where he will be playing the role of Vaughn, Josslyn’s handler at the WSB! “Not really sure how the cat got in the bag,” he joked when the news of his casting broke. “Either way, it’s out.”
Now that Brennan has recruited a reluctant Josslyn to the ranks of the WSB, the agency’s newest agent is going to need a handler, and Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Durfee will be making his debut in the Friday, March 7, episode of the soap.
Technically, GH isn’t Durfee’s daytime debut as his resume reveals that very early in his career he appeared as a male model in an episode of The Bold & The Beautiful. That’s a bit of typecasting, as in addition to acting, Durfee is also a very successful model, appearing in campaigns for brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, Forever 21, Target, Walmart, and Apple.

After deciding to pursue acting, Durfee has continued to pay the bills modeling while also appearing in episodes of television series like Last Man Standing, Baby Daddy, 9-1-1, Hacks, and Yellowstone as well as movies like Toxic Shark, Lethal Beauty, and Deadly Switch.
Before being cast as Vaughn, Durfee had previously auditioned for GH and was in the running for the role of Harrison Chase, which ultimately went to Josh Swickard, who was a pal from the modeling circuit. “It was down to me, Josh, and I think a third guy,” he told Digest. “And the best man got it! Josh is absolutely fantastic, and I was really excited to run into him on set [at GH] recently.”
Born in Nebraska, and raised in Wisconsin and North Carolina, Durfee now lives in California with his wife, Amber, and their two dogs. Don’t miss his debut on GH and stay tuned to see how Vaughn handles Josslyn at the WBS… and if he becomes something much more!
