How DFS works
After setting up your account, you’ll see the variety of sports available across the top of the screen. My favorite sport on PrizePicks is the NBA with the large amount of statistical categories available for your lineup.
A lineup can feature picks from different sports or all from the same sport, it’s entirely up to you. After clicking your sport, you’ll pick from categories such as points, points + rebounds + assists, 3-pointers made, blocked shots, etc. for the NBA.
You’ll click the category, then select a player to perform better or worse than the listed statistic. PrizePicks may price certain players differently based on star talent or you’ll see specials on the statistic where a goblin means the stat is lowered (easier to hit but less payout) or a demon (higher statistic that pays more).
You’ll need at least two players and up to six for more payout in a lineup. Next, you’ll enter how much you wish to fund the lineup with and decide between the Flex Play and the Power Play.
The Flex Play allows you to miss a pick and still earn some payout while a Power Play provides the biggest payout but you’ll need to hit all the picks in the lineup.
Thursday NBA Finals lineup
Jayson Tatum more than 0.5 points (special)
This is a no-brainer while the special is still running. It allows you to get the same payout as Tatum’s original stat listing of 27.5 points but he only needs to score one point for you to nail this pick.
Jayson Tatum more than 10 rebounds
Tatum generally grabs a lot of defensive rebounds and I think he can contribute boards. While Porzingis may be on a restriction in Game 1, Tatum will be one of the contributing factors on the glass if his team takes the first game.
Kyrie Irving more than 32 points + rebounds + assists
I think Game 1 will be a high-scoring affair between both squads. Kyrie may not grab a lot of rebounds and assists but will score 20+ making this statistic easier to hit.
Luka Doncic more than 9 rebounds
As mentioned, I think this will be a high-scoring series. Luka regularly averages close to nine rebounds so I don’t think this is a challenging statistic in our lineup.
