Beloved Sudbury Restaurant Reopens After Fire

SUDBURY, MA — A local restaurant that closed following a fire earlier this year is set to reopen this week. Lotus Blossom, a Chinese and Japanese restaurant, shared on social media that it will reopen on Wednesday. This is after a kitchen fire forced the eatery to close for four months. Sudbury fire crews responded to the restaurant at 394 Boston Post Rd. at around 1 a.m. on March 5, after receiving an alert from a fire suppression system, according to a news release. There were no injuries from the fire, but there was damage to the kitchen. “It has been a very long few months,” Lotus Blossom’s management shared on Facebook. “All our staffs are very eager to return to work.”The article Beloved Sudbury Restaurant Reopens After Fire appeared first on Sudbury, MA Patch.
