Sacked Premier League boss a shock target for Man Utd if Erik ten Hag is dismissed as he joins FIVE-MAN shortlist
FORMER Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has emerged as a potential candidate to succeed Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, according to reports.
De Zerbi, 44, left Brighton earlier this month following the final match of the Premier League season.

The Italian has since been linked with a move to Chelsea, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
With the managerial merry-go-round continuing to spin, Man Utd have also added him to a five-man shortlist in case Ten Hag departs.
The Mail claim United officials sounded out De Zerbi via intermediaries last week.
They also spoke to agents representing Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna as well as Thomas Frank, Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino.
Ten Hag could be sacked by Man Utd in the coming days despite winning the FA Cup.
The Red Devils clinched a 2-1 win over local rivals Manchester City on Saturday.
When asked about his future after the match, Ten Hag responded: “Two trophies in two seasons and three finals. That’s not bad.
“If they don’t want me any more I go somewhere else to win trophies. That is what I do.”

He continued: “I am here to win and I want to build a team. My whole managerial career I have won games and trophies.”
Reports last week suggested Ten Hag would be sacked by Man Utd even if he won the FA Cup.
His future at Old Trafford is now in doubt.
Man Utd finished eighth in the Premier League table this season, a record low for the club.
However, they qualified for the Europa League after winning the FA Cup.
