High Card 25th Episode Begins Streaming on November 5, Debuts New Visual & 2 New Cast Members

Kadokawa has announced that the upcoming 25th episode of the High Card TV anime series will begin streaming in Japan on November 5, 2024. The episode serves as the 13th overall episode of the second season and will be titled HIGH CARD Special Episode “THE FLOWERS BLOOM.”
Crunchyroll also confirmed at its New York Comic Con 2024 industry panel that it will stream the new 13th episode on November 5.
A new key visual and two additional cast members were also revealed, with Hirofumi Nojima voicing the mysterious Diamond 4 card player Wylie Weinstein and Ryotaro Akazawa voicing Teddy, who is Wylie’s strong subordinate.

The 13th episode was announced shortly after the second season finale on March 25, 2024. Season two aired in Japan on January 8, 2024 to March 25, 2024, while the first season ran from January 9, 2023 to March 27, 2023.
Junichi Wada (Sakugan) directed the anime series, with Nozomi Kawano (Radiant) as character designer, Naoki Kuroyanagi (Rent a Girlfriend Season 2 script manager) as series screenwriter, BALCOLONY as card designer, Shunpei Mochizuki (Sakugan character designer) and Junichi Hayama (Golden Kamuy main animator) as main animators and action animation directors, and Takashi Hashimoto (Fate/Grand Order The Movie Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot Wandering; Agateram co-effects animation director) as main animator and effects animation director. Studio Hibari was in charge of the animation production for the first two seasons and will work on the 13th episode.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars:

• Shun Horie as Leo Constantine Pinochle
• Haruka Shiraishi as Wendy Sato
• Yuichiro Umehara as Vijay Kumar Singh
High Card is part of a multimedia project produced by TMS Entertainment, Kadokawa, and Sammy, with Homura Kawamoto (Kakegurui) and Hikaru Muno (Kakegurui Trip and Kakegurui Joker) credited with the original concept. The project also inspired several media adaptations like a drama CD adaptation and a 2022 manga published in Square Enix’s Manga Up! online magazine.

Crunchyroll is streaming both seasons of High Card, which describes the main synopsis as:
After discovering that his orphanage was on the brink of closing due to financial stress, Finn, who was living freely on the streets, set out for a casino with the aim of making a fortune. However, nothing could have prepared Finn for the nightmare that was awaiting him. Once there, Finn encountered a car chase and bloody shootout caused by a manʼs “lucky” card.
