Memorial Day 2024: Find Out When Parade Starts In Glenview
GLENVIEW, IL — In an effort to honor the memory of American men and women who have lost their lives in service to their country, the annual Glenview Memorial Day parade and ceremony returns on Monday, May 27. According to the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, the parade begins at 10 a.m. at Depot and Groe streets, before heading east to Pine Street, then south to Glenview Road and east to the Veterans Memorial at River Drive. At the final stop, a ceremony is scheduled to take place with remarks and singing of the National Anthem and God Bless America. Village Hall will be closed May 27 in observance of the holiday.
