Joe Jonas Is ‘On a Mission’ When It Comes To Wooing Demi Moore
Joe Jonas and Demi Moore have sparked quite a few rumors since hitting it off in Cannes while dining with Heidi Klum and Kevin Jonas in May. Despite what their body language might suggest, insiders and experts claim that the pair are “just friends.” Still, it seems Jonas has his sights set on something more substantial down the line, driven by his “over the top” feelings for Moore.
An insider disclosed that Joe has been relentless in his pursuit. “[Joe has] been texting her non-stop since and asking when they can hang out again. He’s even saying she’s inspired him to write a song for her, it’s all very over the top,” the insider revealed to Life & Style Magazine. And while the level of attention is certainly flattering, it doesn’t seem like Moore is exactly rushing to reciprocate.
“It’s a huge compliment, so she isn’t exactly shutting him down but she’s not jumping at it either. She’s saying they’re better off as friends because she’s looking for something more long-term and serious, not just another fling with a younger man,” the insider continued. “She jokes she’s been there, done that and got the T-shirt! It hasn’t put Joe off, though. If anything, he’s coming on stronger because he sees it as a challenge that he wants to win.”

For those who don’t remember, Moore was with Ashton Kutcher for eight years before calling it quits in 2011. The two, who have a 15-year age gap, starting dating in 2003 when Kutcher was 25 and Moore was 41.
Moore, who has been open about her flirtatious nature, reportedly feels that Jonas is simply not a viable match. “Anyone that knows them both, it’s pretty hard to imagine her actually giving him a shot. She’s just way out of his league, and so much more experienced, she’d eat him for breakfast,” the insider noted, not holding back.
That same source elaborated on Jonas’s current state, noting, “Joe is finding his groove as a single dad and pretty much fully recovered from the roller-coaster ride of his marriage and his divorce from Sophie Turner. He’s in rebuilding mode and not leaning as much on his brothers as he was a year ago. He’s his own man again, and Demi certainly can see that, and on her own level, relate to that.”
Whether or not Jonas’s mission will eventually sway Moore or remain a wistful pursuit remains to be seen. For now, the two are sticking to friendship. Only time (or a new song from Jonas) will tell.
