With First Gold, Hunter Woodhall and Wife Tara Davis-Woodhall Recreate Romantic Moment at Paralympics
After Tara Davis-Woodhall had her moment under the spotlight in the City of Love, it was now Hunter Woodhall’s turn. Who could forget their romantic moment after she turned her winning moment into their moment for the track and field world to watch? However, fans were hoping to see them switch sides during the ongoing Paralympics in the French capital. The 25-year-old was ready to turn heads at Stade de France during his third berth.
But much to his dismay, he missed the mark at the T64 100m event. But all hope was not lost. He stepped onto the purple tracks on September 6, hoping to snag a gold of his own. The current 4000m American record holder surged past his competitors, crossing the finish line in 46.36 seconds. He has done it! The 25-year-old is a Paralympic gold medalist. But all he could think of was Davis-Woodhall cheering him on in the stands, recreating the ‘Where’s the trophy? He just comes running over to me’ moment once again.
