Today, we are looking at Nos. 94-90 on Auburn’s roster.
Nos. 99-95: Jayson Jones, Quientrail Jamison-Travis and Gage Keys
No. 93, Joe Frazier, Jr., DT
The 6-foot, 270-pound walk-on from Auburn High School has yet to see game action in 2022 or 2023.
No. 92, Trill Carter, DT
The 6-foot, 290-pound defensive tackle transferred to Auburn from Texas and went through spring camp. Carter played in 13 games for the Longhorns in 2023, recording nine tackles. From 2019-2022, Carter played at Minnesota, playing in 33 games with 24 starts, and tallying 57 total tackles. Per Pro Football Focus, Carter was graded the 18th-best defender on Texas’ defense last season, playing 246 total snaps. Carter’s move to Auburn brings him closer to home, as he played his high school football in Cordele, Ga. Head coach Hugh Freeze said during the spring that Auburn needs Carter to “step up,” and noting that Carter has played a “decent number of snaps” in his college career, hoping that translates to production this fall.

No. 91, Zykeivous Walker, DE
The 6-foot-4, 285-pound Walker enters his fifth season at Auburn trying to finally break through. He’s tallied 41 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and three sacks in four seasons, not quite living up to his high 4-star billing out of high school. Walker nearly transferred away from Auburn following the 2022 season after only playing in one game. PFF graded Walker the 33rd-best defender on the team last season, but it was Walker’s most productive season, going for 21 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. At Vanderbilt, Walker flashed with five tackles, one sack and two tackles for loss. Last fall, then D-line coach Jeremy Garrett said Walker was “moving well” and “doing a good job” playing defensive end.
No. 91, Oscar Chapman, P
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Chapman also enters his fifth season at Auburn after arriving from Australia. He will be the Tigers’ starting punter for the fourth straight season. In 2021, Chapman ranked second in the SEC with an average of 44.1 yards per punt, earning PFF All-SEC Second Team honors. In 2022, Chapman was a Ray Guy Award semifinalist, averaging 44 yards per punt, good for fourth in the SEC. Chapman had 12 punts of 50+ yards that season. Last season, Chapman averaged 44.6 yards per punt, again good for fourth in the SEC, and watched his career total for 50+ yard punts rise to 41. He kicked a 71-yard punt against Georgia, the third-longest punt in school history.
