4-star SG Davis Fogle discusses four schools, Nebraska, Creighton, Kansas, and Gonzaga
Davis Fogle is the No. 67 overall player in the updated 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard averaged 24.6 points
“I’m a three-level scorer,” Fogle told On3. “I can get all the way to the rim, pull up in the mid-range, and shoot threes. I think I’m developing as a playmaker and can be an energy guy when my shot isn’t falling. My athleticism and shot creation have developed a lot this spring, so far.”
On3 caught up with four-star Davis Fogle at the Pangos All-American Camp to discuss the latest in his recruitment.
“I’ve taken one official visit so far and that was to Nebraska,” Fogle said. “I’ve scheduled an official visit to Gonzaga for June 28-29.
Fogle recaps Nebraska
“They’re a program that is on the rise. Coach (Fred) Hoiberg and I have built a super-strong relationship. You know, he has coached in college and coached in the NBA, and he played in the NBA so definitely playing for a player’s coach would be super cool. It was a great experience to be out there.
“They (the fans) love Nebraska down there. They don’t have a professional sports team so everyone there and around the area are Husker fans. And they definitely show a lot of love. I talk a lot with the staff, and our relationship has continued to grow since the visit. They came to see me a few times in high school and all that.”
Fogle and Gonzaga
“They’re an in-state school. And they’re just really, really consistent. They’ve gotten to the NCAA Tournament every year and, I think, they’ve been to like nine straight Sweet Sixteens. Their player development is top-notch and that is really sticking out about them.
“They’ve come to see me at home like three times. They’ve come to see my workout at my high school twice. I mean, we have definitely grown a strong relationship. They like my scoring and my offensive skill set. They think I can fit in really well with their play style.”
Davis Fogle and his recruitment
“I’m working with Creighton on a visit for sometime in the Fall, I’m for sure going to visit there,” Fogle said. “And I’m talking with Kansas as well. There aren’t really any other schools, I really like what I have with those four schools that I just mentioned.”
CREIGHTON: “Over the last two or three months I’ve developed a good relationship with them. They’re another team that has really good player development and they’re going to be really competitive. I developed a really good relationship with their coaching staff, so I’m excited to get down there and see everything.”
KANSAS: “I mean, they’re obviously a top college basketball program ever. They are newer, so I definitely would like to get to know them more, so that is why I’m looking to get down there on a visit. My wing scoring and my offensive skill set fits in with what they do.”
In his words
“I’ve talked with my parents and some of the people around me about committing right before signing day, in the early fall, and signing during the first signing period,” Fogle said. “We want to get it out of the way before my high school season starts.
“My relationship with the coaching staff will be big. And I want to go somewhere that I know I can develop and with a staff that can turn me into an NBA player one day and reach my dreams. I want to play somewhere that has a good family-like culture and for a program that wants to win and I know that we will go far.
