Short and sweet … It’s wet and more rain is on the way … Several areas have been identified as areas of concern … some folks are in centers identified as “shelters,”, several in Bladen County … Again, Google for locations…
Showers and possibly thunderstorms today. High temp near 81. Windy, with gusts as high in the mid 40 mph range … 90% chance of rain … new rainfall amounts … an inch or 2 or more, possible.
Tonight … Tropical storm conditions possible. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm … Low around 75 … and 90% chance of rain.
Friday … Tropical storm conditions possible. Showers and thunderstorms are likely. Mostly cloudy with a high near 88 and a 60% chance of rain…
Rain should begin to lessen, but continues in the forecast thru next Wednesday … Tornadoes are a threat…
We all need to continue to monitor weather sources for specifics for our area for the next day or two. Tropical Storm Debby has caused a “mess” … The sooner the storm departs, the better … Tornado warnings are likely to continue for a while…
And, there are those among us who are having a difficult time dealing with it all … We need to reach out and assist…
Prayers for rain have been answered … a little late, but…
Some in low lying areas, no doubt, having severe issues…
