MAFS Australia shock as groom storms off show and dumps bride, 37, saying ‘I want someone who is 25’

A Married At First Sight Australia groom stormed off and QUIT the show — brutally dumping his bride just three days into their honeymoon.
Eliot Donovan, 35, who tied the knot with Lauren Hall, 37, stunned viewers with his savage honesty, declaring the MAFS experts didn’t meet his “non-negotiables”.

Despite both being business owners, Eliot decided almost immediately that Lauren wasn’t his type — and wasted no time letting her know.
In a fiery clash, he told her: “It’s things that are important to me that aren’t a match, and this is a result of that.”
But Lauren, desperate to salvage their doomed match, pleaded with him to give it a chance.
“It’s also an experiment, like it’s not a guarantee happily ever after,” she said.
“We were told right throughout the day it would be challenging. And we’ve taken two planes, a bus, a ferry to get up here. Like, we could spend the next two days, actually just have some fun.”
Eliot wasn’t having it and said: “It’s just… it’s kind of pointless to me.”
Lauren, growing increasingly frustrated, called him out for bailing on her after just three days.
She snapped: “It’s very frustrating, like, running away after three days. You made a commitment to me.”
But Elliot hit back, doubling down on his decision to walk away.
“I said I would commit as far as they respected my non-negotiables,” he said, before dropping the bombshell list of demands he expected his wife to meet.
“I want someone who is younger than me, 25.
“Someone who wants to have a family, someone that likes exercise like me. I want someone that is, like, not into superficial things.”
Lauren, stunned, accused Elliot of not even trying to get to know her.
“You’ve made an assumption. You haven’t actually put in any effort. We haven’t even had deep conversations,” she said.
“Like, you really don’t know anything about me.”
But Elliot refused to back down.
He replied: “I don’t need you to tell me what I want. Do you know what I mean? There’s no upside for me.”
With that, he walked out, leaving Lauren devastated.
“He’s leaving,” she said as the camera followed Eliot’s dramatic exit.
WEDDING JITTERS
Earlier, Eliot’s best man Jordy was extremely nervous about the wedding.
“I’ve got huge concerns that he may not be into her. If he smiles, happy days. If he’s not smiling then it’s huge red flags,” he said.
Lauren said she wanted a man that is masculine, chivalrous, and takes the lead when she applied for the show.
And the experts noted that they both had expectations about traditional gender roles.
“In some strange way, we’ve got a very compatible match,” relationship guru John Aiken said.
GROOM SLAMMED
Viewers were full of praise for Lauren, with one writing on Instagram: “What an incredible young woman. Her communication, patience, calm. How refreshing.”
Another said: “Temu Tom Cruise you are not that special mate.”
A third said: “What is masculine about a man afraid of a girl with a handbag? And why would us 20 something year olds want manipulative, insecure, washed out dudes.”
