Milford Man Rammed Pedestrian With Car: Police
MILFORD, MA — Milford police arrested a town man over the weekend after he rammed a pedestrian with his car early Saturday morning, police said. The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday when the pedestrian told the driver that he had parked his car in the middle of the street. The driver, Alejandro Gonzalez, 28, responded by hitting the pedestrian, tossing the person over the car, Milford police said."After walking away, the victim heard the acceleration of an engine before being struck and upended over the vehicle. Milford Police patrolmen then responded to the scene of the collision and located items belonging to the victim and pooling blood," the police department said in a news release. Police found out about the incident after the pedestrian sought treatment at Milford Regional Hospital. Gonzalez was arrested around 6 a.m. Saturday at his Milford home on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a marked lanes violation, leaving the scene of a collision and operating a vehicle negligently to endanger. This is the second vehicle-ramming incident involving a Milford resident in recent weeks. Ryan Sweatt has been charged with murder by the Middlesex DA after authorities say he hit a Destini Decoff, also a Milford resident, during a road rage incident in Hopkinton. Decoff died days after the incident. The article Milford Man Rammed Pedestrian With Car: Police appeared first on Milford, MA Patch.
