Judge Mathis’ Estranged Wife Had Him Served w/ Divorce Papers At Their Home
More details have surfaced in the recent breakup of Judge Greg Mathis and Linda Mathis.
Last month we reported that after 39 years of marriage, Linda Mathis filed for divorce from Judge Mathis. She listed their date of separation as July 17 and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Court documents recently obtained by In Touch revealed that Linda Mathis had Judge Mathis served with divorce papers at their Los Angeles home. Reportedly, on August 23, the process server arrived at their $5 million Beverly Hills home around 10:30 a.m. and gave the paperwork to the TV personality.

In her filing, Linda has reportedly requested spousal support and asked that her soon-to-be-ex be denied any support. In their nearly 4-decade-long marriage, the former love birds welcomed 4 children. However, they are all now adults, so there’s no need for the pair to hash out custody or child support.

Despite Linda appearing to be serious about wanting a divorce, Judge Mathis seemingly wants her to have a change of heart. He recently claimed,
“I’m not holding up very well. Maybe I’ll be an example for another man, cautionary tale, don’t neglect your wife. That’s what happens, guys.”
And added,
“[I’m] trying to get my wife back.”
