I got six mystery return parcels at the car boot – the first one was a winner, then I realised I’d made a big mistake
SHE was hoping to find a few good buys when she picked up six mystery return parcels at the local car boot sale.
Charlie spotted parcels that were £1 each, or £2 for three, so raided the box at Bowlee car boot sale and took some home with her.
Charlie bought six mystery parcels from the car boot sale, but didn’t know what was insidetiktok/@charlie_louise_cc
She thought she was onto a winner when she pulled a phone armband out of the first bagtiktok/@charlie_louise_cc
All of the parcels had little bags of confetti in themtiktok/@charlie_louise_cc
Almost all of the parcels also contained these Yankee Candle car charmstiktok/@charlie_louise_cc
But she had no idea what was inside the packages, and took to TikTok to document herself opening them up.
The first thing she pulled out of parcel number one was a DVD of Battle of the Pacific, some face paint and some confetti.
Onto the second bag, and Charlie admitted she wasn’t “sure what to expect at all”.
She took out a smartphone armband, which she said “actually may be really useful”.
There was also a Yankee Candle charm for the car, and some confetti.
While the next package was slightly better, with some colourful socks inside, there was also some more confetti.
But then she went back onto the bags she’d got from the same box,
“I’m going for another one,” she said, before pulling out “another armband” and adding: “I’m hoping these aren’t all the same!”
Unluckily for Charlie, the bags were full of pretty much exactly the same items.
“I think the moral of the story is in future if you go to car boot sales, just buy one lucky bag,” she concluded.
“You know we basically got the exact same thing in every single bag now!”
“I’m gutted, thought I might get lucky!” Charlie added in the caption.
Despite her disappointment, people in the comments were fairly impressed with the haul.
“What a bargain!” one wrote.

To which Charlie responded: “The arm bands were also £9 from Asda and currently selling for £4.50 so definitely worth more than the £1 I paid!”
“I’m not sure what I’m going to do with all this confetti tbh!” she added.
