Where Miami 2026 recruiting targets sit in latest On300 rankings
On3’s latest On300 rankings update Monday for the top 300 players in the 2026 class featured more than 20 prospects Miami has already set its sights on, including a few who have already committed to the Hurricanes.
Here’s where Miami’s 2026 recruiting targets sit after the latest On300 rankings update:
No. 1 | DT Jahkeem Stewart+++ Stewart spent time on campus this spring and has been pursued by Miami early, although the RPM currently favors LSU for the Louisiana native.
No. 3 | OT Immanuel Iheanacho+++ Miami offered the five-star 2026 offensive tackle two weeks ago and was immediately “up there” for the 6-foot-7, 320-pound recruit, he then told CaneSport.
No. 11 | QB Faizon Brandon+++ Miami isn’t quite in the mix yet for the No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 cycle, but after offering the four-star quarterback last week, the Hurricanes could work their way into his picture if they can get him to campus this summer or fall.
No. 12 | TE Kendre Harrison+++ Miami offered Harrison earlier this spring and grabbed the football and basketball star’s attention, although the RPM lists North Carolina and NC State as the two favorites.
No. 14 | QB Dia Bell+++ Bell is probably the most talented high school quarterback to come out of South Florida in at least 20 years (perhaps ever if things keep trending in the current direction) and has been a massive priority for schools like Miami, LSU, Penn State, Texas and Ohio State. He’s eyeing a potential late-summer decision.
No. 17 | ATH Derrek Cooper+++ Cooper has steadily climbed in the last two recruiting updates as offers have continued to pour in. Cooper is expected to be a major contributor this season at Chaminade-Madonna.
No. 20 | EDGE Jordan Carter+++ Miami offered Carter earlier this spring and has shown early interest in the Georgia native. He is listed as a top-50 recruit by each major recruiting service.
No. 21 | LB Tyler Atkinson+++ Miami offered Atkinson last year and jumped on his radar early, although Georgia has recruited him heavily so far this spring.
No. 23 | RB Javian Osborne+++ Osborne has been a significant early recruiting target for Texas but received a Miami offer after the staff dropped by his school earlier this month. He has expressed basic interest in the Hurricanes.
No. 24 | S Zelus Hicks+++ Hicks also holds a Miami offer but has been a popular recruiting target for SEC schools like Auburn, Georgia and Florida, among others.
No. 25 | DL Aiden Harris+++ Harris is the nephew of former Hurricane Denzel Perryman and was initially scheduled to visit Miami this spring, although he wasn’t able to make the trip.

No. 48 | CB J’Vari Flowers+++ Miami is yet to offer Flowers, who has arguably been one of the most talented but least mentioned names in the 2026 class and is still watching his recruitment get off the ground. But we would be surprised if Miami doesn’t offer him at some point.
No. 49 | S Simeon Caldwell+++ Caldwell is the nephew of former Miami defensive coordinator Tim Walton, who is currently serving as Ohio State’s secondary coach and is Caldwell’s primary recruiter in Columbus, but has shown interest in the Hurricanes early. No. 54 | ATH Efrem White+++ White visited Miami twice last fall before committing to Florida State in December but is still receiving interest from other programs.
No. 64 | WR Brandon Bennett+++ Bennett is one of the fastest receivers in South Florida and looks primed for a massive junior season. Bennett’s spring workouts were limited due to track, but we still expect him to be a star this fall.
No. 65 | LB Jordan Campbell (Miami commit)+++ Campbell was one of Miami’s first 2026 commits last fall and has remained solid with the Hurricanes, although he’s continuing to receive pushes from a bounty of schools.
No. 75 | RB Tradarian Ball+++ Miami’s staff visited Ball this spring to offer the four-star prospect, although Texas has recruited him heavily and will make it hard for Ball to leave the Lone Star State. However, he’s still interested in visiting Miami.
No. 84 | WR Jabari Brady+++ Brady looks like one of the more talented receivers in South Florida next cycle but has shown interest in Ohio State early. He looks poised for a breakout season at Chaminade-Madonna this fall.
No. 90 | RB Messiah Mickens+++ Mickens landed an offer the first week Miami’s staff hit the recruiting trail this spring but has been a massive in-state target for Penn State.
No. 103 | S Justice Fitzpatrick+++ Fitzpatrick has dealt with a few injuries early in his career but looks like one of the highest-floor prospects in his cycle. He’s the younger brother of NFL star Minkah Fitzpatrick and has been one of Mario Cristobal’s biggest priorities.
No. 108 | RB DeZephen Walker+++ Walker also landed a Miami offer this spring following a staff visit to his school and wants to visit Coral Gables, although he’s uncertain when.

No. 120 | QB Will Griffin

+++ Riggins’ recruitment is still getting off the ground, although the Monarch wideout already holds a Miami offer.
No. 124 | DL Vodney Cleveland

+++ Jones holds more than a dozen offers from schools including Miami, Florida State and Oklahoma.
No. 180 | CB Dominick Kelly
+++ Kelly committed to USC this spring but has continued to visit different schools, including Miami. He told us last month Miami is a place he can see himself.
