It’s unclear if Thomas has entered a plea to the charges or retained an attorney to speak on his behalf. The charges come after Abraham’s body was found by a passerby inside a tarp rolled up on the side of a highway in the Tangipahoa Parish on Sept. 29, the local sheriff’s office previously said on Facebook. Authorities noted that Abraham’s death was a homicide caused by blunt force trauma. According to an arrest warrant reviewed by PEOPLE, Thomas was taken into custody on Sept. 30 in Texas after police claimed he was found driving Abraham’s vehicle and tried to flee during a traffic stop. Authorities said the car ended up crashing into a parking lot.Police previously released images taken from a store’s surveillance camera of an individual believed by authorities to have been the last person driving Abraham’s vehicle. The person of interest wasn’t named at the time but police later allegedly identified Thomas as the driver, the warrant states.

As the investigation continued, authorities executed a search warrant at Thomas’ Baton Rouge apartment, where they claim they found evidence that “indicated a violent physical altercation” had occurred, the warrant states. According to the warrant, authorities found blood inside the apartment that allegedly matched Abraham’s DNA, along with “multiple sharp objects” and other weapons.Authorities also said in the warrant that Abraham was seen in surveillance footage arriving at Thomas' apartment complex around 11 a.m. local time on Sept. 28, wearing the same clothes he was found dead in the next day.Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, the relationship between Thomas and Abraham is unclear and there is “no evidence to suggest that Thomas was a client of Abraham.” Authorities added that a motive for the killing remains under investigation.According to his website, Abraham was a life coach and licensed professional counselor and went by the moniker Dr. Nick.As for Thomas, Baton Rouge police confirmed to WBRZ-TV that he is the same person who goes by the name "Mr. Prada 456" on TikTok. The account has 3.9 million followers and his most recent video was posted around Sept. 29."I appreciate the work done by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana State Police and Crime Lab, Baton Rouge Police Department, U.S. Marshal's Service and all others involved," East Baton Rouge Sheriff Sid Gautreaux said in the statement. "This is an ongoing investigation that will take time to gather further evidence. I hope that this arrest may bring some closure and assurance to friends and family."
