My Oni Girl Releases Collaboration Trailer with ZUTOMAYO’s “Blues in the Closet”
Twin Engine has released a special collaboration PV trailer for the My Oni Girl anime film, featuring the insert song “Blues in the Closet” by Japanese rock group ZUTOMAYO. The anime film first began streaming on Netflix on May 24, 2024.
Tomotaka Shibayama (A Whisker Away co-director) is directing the anime film, with Yuuko Kakihara (The Apothecary Diaries, Blue Orchestra) as co-screenwriter along with Shibayama, and Nami Kubota as music composer. Studio Colorido is in charge of the animation production.
Other staff members include Masafumi Yokota (Shine on! Bakumatsu Bad Boys) as character designer, Sunao Chikaoka (Hakubo, Revisions original character designs) as character design assistant, Miho Tanaka (The Yuzuki Family’s Four Sons) as color designer, Kunihiko Inaba (Meganebu!, Giovanni’s Island) as art director, Satoshi Machida as composting director, and Eriko Kimura (Penguin Highway) as sound director.
Meanwhile, the anime film’s voice cast includes:

My Oni Girl is the second title in Colorido’s three-film partnership with Netflix, following 2022’s Drifting Home. Netflix also streamed A Whisker Away in 2020.
