1 Dead, 1 Wounded After Pittsburgh Shooting Incident
PITTSBURGH, PA — One man is dead and another was hospitalized following a shooting incident involving two different locations in the city's Duquesene Heights neighborhood early Friday.Police were called to the 200 block of Plymouth Street shortly after 3:30 a.m. They responded to a call about a man who knocked on a door asking for help and found he had been shot in the stomach and arm.He was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition, Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said.Police searching the area then came upon a home with obvious signs of forced entry on the 1400 block of Virginia Avenue. They found an unresponsive man who was pronounced dead by paramedics.The man's name and manner of death have yet to be disclosed. His identity will be released by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office, authorities said.The investigation is ongoing.
