Jake Paul rival responds to claims he was 'paid to dive' against YouTube star

Ex-UFC star Tyron Woodley has hit back at claims that his 'cousin' said he took a dive against Jake Paul in a boxing match in 2021.The former welterweight champion replaced Tommy Fury as a last-minute replacement to face Paul in 2021 after the Briton suffered a late injury. It saw Woodley rematch Paul in December, having only just lost out to him in their first bout four months previous by split decision. But there was no second-guessing this fight as Paul knocked Woodley out in the sixth round. However, the legitimacy of that fight has been called into question by someone claiming to be Woodley's cousin in a clip that has since gone viral. While making predictions for Paul's upcoming bout against Mike Tyson, the man said: "If it's paid off, Jake Paul. "If not, Mike Tyson is gonna knock him out... Tyron Woodley is my literally f***ing cousin."My name is Julian Woodley. So I know for a fact, that motherf***er got paid to take the knock."Woodley has since responded on social media to deny the allegations, which must be stressed have no evidence against them.JUST IN: Lewis Hamilton sends one-word message to Daniel Ricciardo as F1 hero releases emotional statementHe wrote on X: "N**** wish he was my kinfolk."Paul has already responded angrily to claims that his fights pre-arranged, saying ahead of his Mike Tyson clash: "A lot of people are doubting me, a lot of people are saying if Jake wins then the fight is rigged because of how great he looks."Age is just a number, he's a killer and he's a warrior.READ MORE: Presidents Cup duo branded 'disrespectful' after breaking golf etiquette rule against Scottie Scheffler"He's been doing this his whole entire life so it's second nature to him."I've been doing it for four years and I've been doing it at a super-high level but I'm going to prove I can out-box Mike Tyson.
