'It was warmer the sun now is more of a cool tone': Millennials claim the sun was different in the 90s, others argue that these memories are skewed by ads and being 8-years-old in 1995
It's no mystery that some things have changed since the 90s. We've gotten older, prices have gone up, and the Vengaboys are not releasing as many songs. A lot of people might say that the 90s were clearly a better time to be alive, but most of the people who say that were children during the 90s. I could probably say the same for the 2000s and my mom could say the same for the 70s. It's easy to believe that the decade of your childhood was the best, but you can't deny that those judgements are often clouded by nostalgia. One Twitter user recently went viral for claiming the sun was different in the 90s. Others agreed, saying that it was warmer back then, while others argued that this might be a false memory based on the lighting design of advertisements from the 90s. I'm not sure if I'm buying what the 90s kids are selling.
