Khloé Kardashian Says Mom Kris Jenner’s ‘Insane’ Lie Could Have Cost Her Custody of the KarJenner Kids

Khloé Kardashian has made a lot of alarming revelations lately. (Remember how she was worried that her brother Rob could have been the father of her son Tatum?) Well, the youngest of the Kardashian sisters must think it’s 1773 Boston with the amount of tea she keeps spilling. (Can I get away with that borderline Dad Joke?)
In the Season 5 premiere of The Kardashians, Scott Disick (AKA Kourtney Kardashian’s ex and father of three of her children) was talking about how his 14-year-old son Mason is excited to learn how to drive. Matriarch Kris Jenner was quick to jump in and point out that Khloé used to drive at that age.
“But you lied to me and said that I had a government license,” Khloé said. “You’re the one that told me I was allowed to take the kids to school.”
Eek! And that does sound like something Jenner might do. Not because I think she’s a criminal, but because in her memoir, Kris Jenner…and All Things Kardashian, Jenner talked about how her third child was a huge help around the house, especially when it came to helping with her younger siblings, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
“I would have had to give up so much if I had not had Khloé there to help,” Jenner said in the book. ” … Because of Khloé, I was able to attend business meetings, work out, get my hair cut, even have lunch with a friend … To this day, Kendall and Kylie feel that Khloé is their second mom.”
And to truly be Jenner’s “right arm” and “built-in babysitter,” Khloé would have needed to be able to drive ASAP. Laws be damned. If you’re in shock, don’t worry. You’re not the only one. Disick looked stunned.
“Wait, what?!” he asked in disbelief. ” … You drove the kids to school without a license, and [Jenner] said you had a government license?” Disick — who shares kids Reign, Penelope, and Mason with Kourtney — ultimately called the lie “insane.”

Jenner was surprisingly (or perhaps not?) nonchalant about the situation, saying it was “different back then.” “Don’t judge me until you’ve walked in my shoes!” she said.
“She would’ve had all of her kids taken away if this story came out when we were [younger],” Khloé insisted.
At the very least, we hope there would have been serious ramifications. By the time Khloé was 14, the family was already in the spotlight with her late father, Robert Kardashian, defending O.J. Simpson in his infamous murder trial. It wouldn’t have been until more than 10 years later that Keeping Up with the Kardashians would air. Despite their fame, Jenner should have at least gotten a slap on the wrist for that “insane” lie that endangered her daughters and other drivers. (But given that she was a wealthy white woman in America with a lawyer husband … who knows.)
Hopefully Disick and Kourtney don’t pull the same move with Mason. Sure, he can practice driving in a parking lot. But they can definitely drive their kids to school … or pay a licensed adult to do it.
