All-New Kia Carnival Limousine Pre-bookings To Open On This Date
New Delhi: Kia India had announced pre-launch bookings for the all new-generation Kia Carnival Limousine starting on September 16, 2024, at 12 a.m. The minimum booking amount is Rs 2 lakh, and bookings can be made across India through the official Kia website.Also Read: Best Car Discounts And Offers In September 2024Kia Carnival: Features The latest-generation Kia Carnival will come with enhanced features, including a larger, more spacious second row. This row will feature luxury powered relaxation seats with ventilation and leg support, a one-touch smart power sliding door, and a dual electric sunroof. It will also include a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a panoramic curved display with a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital console. Additionally, the new Carnival will offer Level 2 ADAS with 23 autonomous safety features.The previous generation of the Kia Carnival garnered strong customer approval, with over 14,500 units sold from 2020 to 2023. Its standout feature was the exceptionally comfortable second row, a quality that the new generation aims to enhance even further.The 2024 Kia Carnival stretches over 5 metres in length, providing generous space for rear-seat passengers. It is expected to offer various seating configurations across different trims. Although Kia has yet to confirm the exact specifications, the new model is anticipated to feature a 2.2-liter diesel engine paired with an automatic transmission. Internationally, the Carnival will also be available with a 3.5-liter V6 and a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine.The new-generation Carnival will likely be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), with local assembly potentially starting at a later date. The expected price is around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom), a significant increase from the previous generation’s starting price of Rs 24.95 lakh (ex-showroom) in 2020.
