'OutDaughtered' Star Danielle Busby Shares Health Update Following Debilitating Symptoms (Exclusive)
In recent years, OutDaughtered star Danielle Busby has faced alarming health challenges. Migraines, neck and body pain, heart palpitations and more have had debilitating effects on her everyday life. And recently, Danielle recently sat down with Parade for an update on her health.Danielle, 40, shares six daughters with her husband, Adam Busby, 41: a daughter, Blayke, 13, and quintuplet girls, Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley and Parker, 9. Ahead of Season 10 of the TLC series, the busy mom and entrepreneur opened up about how she's doing today."I have been pretty solid and pretty good probably the last like eight or so months," Danielle told Parade. "I have been on a routine of, you know, seeing doctors, kind of discovering, like, all the struggles with like my nervous system."The task of carrying quintuplets took a tremendous toll on her body, and the lingering effects on Danielle's heart and nervous system have become more prevalent in recent years."Now that the kids are getting more independent, my body itself has actually slowed down a lot. So I've had a lot of inflammation, a lot of swelling, a lot of weight gain, to losing some weight to weight gain," the Houston, Texas, mom shared. "It's just like this, this up and down curve."With regular blood work, Danielle's medical team has also pinpointed and treated vitamin deficiencies."I do take certain medications to help with a lot of like the nerve damage and the triggering, that I get up my neck until like the back of my head, which brings on these migraines and whatnot," she explained. "I see medical doctors, but I also have like a holistic route of just certain vitamins and like certain things that we intake to help."'OutDaughtered' Star Danielle Busby Gives Health Update (2:52) Danielle doesn't have a specific diagnosis encompassing all of her health issues. However, doctors are treating her for migraines, fibromyalgia and autoimmune disease. "I think there are some people who can relate, but there's also some people who don't understand, and there's no medical diagnosis for me," she explained.
