The Uzumaki Clan is well known for their legendary sealing techniques. But Naruto, despite being the son of Minato, never got around to learning them properly, especially not from an Uzumaki descendant.
The Uzumaki Clan’s Greatest Ability: Sealing Techniques

The Uzumaki Clan was historically known for its powerful sealing jutsu and huge chakra capacity. In fact, their abilities were so feared across the shinobi world that they were wiped out during the Third Great Ninja War due to mass fear of their powers. The Clan specialized in their sealing techniques or Fuinjutsu.

Sealing techniques are a type of jutsu that can seal objects, living creatures, chakra, and uncountable other things. The Uzumaki Sealing Technique is used by forming hand seals and then slamming the hand on the ground, from which a sealing formula originates underneath the target. As the seal activates, anything above the inscription gets sealed within the formula.

In fact, another clan of shinobi who originated from Uzushiogakure were also masters of the Four Symbols Seal. During wartime, their power was so feared that they were ultimately targeted and destroyed by other villages, matching the fate of the Uzumakis. This further proves how strong sealing techniques can get, and if Naruto had possession of the power, he could have defeated his enemies with greater ease.
Masashi Kishimoto Prevented Naruto from Learning Sealing Techniques

Naruto is not completely incapable of using sealing jutsu. He demonstrated his abilities during battles and when it involved sealing and unsealing the Tailed Beasts. He even used the Four Symbols Seal to seal the Tailed Beasts within himself before storing them away. However, he is primarily known for his combat skills and usage of ninjutsu.
Naruto’s usage of sealing techniques is not the same as the signature style of the Uzumakis. Both Nagato and Karin were alive, yet Masashi Kishimoto did not give Naruto a single chance to learn the techniques. Both Nagato and Karin were descendants of the Uzumaki Clan, yet the topic of them belonging to the same extinct clan was never brought up.

Whenever Naruto faced an extremely powerful enemy, Masashi Kishimoto gave him a huge power-up, even though a sealing technique could have done the job just as well. Despite being from such a prestigious clan, Naruto only inherited their vast reserves of chakra and never really understood his true heritage. This might have been a failure to point out on the part of the author.
