Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku Reveals Cast and Character Designs
Cast details and character design images have been released for the Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku anime adaptation.
The announced cast members are Kohsuke Tanabe as Kei, Ai Fairouz as Amina, and Shunsuke Takeuchi as Doujima.
Koji Shinasaka‘s Tohai manga was serialized in Akita Shoten’s Young Champion from 2006 to 2011 and is collected into 12 tankoubon volumes. It was later followed by Tohai: Hitobashira-hen, Tohai: Minagoroshi-hen, and the ongoing Tohai: Cold Girl, which started in 2021 and features Amina as the main protagonist. The series also includes spin-off works.

The anime, which will premiere this year, is described as:
Money, women, organs. Kei, a high school boy, frequents the underground mahjong parlorteeming with desires, earning him the monikerK of the ICE in the underworld due to his cold-hearted strategy and stylish gameplay. Rumors also circulate that he keeps a girl at his home.
A live-action movie adaptation of Tohai was released in 2023.
