New video of Diddy's brutal assault on Cassie Ventura reveals a security guard responding
A security guard working at the ritzy Los Angeles hotel where Sean “Diddy” Combs was infamously caught on video brutally beating and kicking then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura is testifying Tuesday in the disgraced rapper’s stunning sex-trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial.
Combs, 55, is accused of using his fame, fortune and many businesses to run a decade-long scheme in which he controlled and manipulated Ventura, 38, using violence and threats, forcing her and others — including several escorts — into drug-fueled “freak-off” sex marathons that went on for days.
He faces life in prison if convicted.
The trial is not televised because cameras are prohibited inside the federal courthouse, but we’re there following all the action — so watch this space for the latest updates.

Security guard testified Diddy told him he would 'take care of' him if he helped with Cassie beating footage
By Ben Kochman and Priscilla DeGregory
Security guard Eddy Garcia just told jurors that Sean "Diddy" Combs promised him "he would take care of me" if the guard helped him get ahold of the now-infamous surveillance video of the hip-hop mogul beating girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Garcia -- who worked in private security at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles -- said that after Combs notoriously beat Ventura on March 5, 2016, Garcia was hounded by the Bad Boy Records founder and his chief of staff Kristina Khorram to help them make the video go away.
During one call with Combs, he "sounded very nervous. He was talking fast. He said he had a little too much to drink, said one thing led to another."
On another call, Combs told Garcia, "I sounded like a good guy. That I wanted to help ... he said something like this could ruin him. He was concerned that this video could get out and that it could ruin his career."
"He said he would take care of me," Garcia said of that call.

The room cost him nearly $3,000 total for the single-night stay.
Earlier in the trial, it was revealed that another hotel where Combs stayed several times charged him an extra $1,000 per stay for the same slippery reason.

During her time working for the "Vogue" singer, she was in charge of "a myriad of things," Mia said.
"I was hired to lead her film industry," Mia testified. "It morphed into multiple roles."
Combs' defense attorney asked about the job with the "Ray of Light" songstress to undercut Mia's claims that Combs blacklisted her after she left.
"Do you have evidence that you were blacklisted?" defense attorney Brian Steel asked Mia.

Madonna "didn’t care about that," Mia said.
Steel then tried to get Mia to confirm there was "no retribution or retaliation by Mr. Combs after you went to mediation."
"He took away the TV show I created," Mia retorted. "He took away the credit I was promised in the documentary.”

By Kyle Schnitzer
Sean "Diddy" Combs' former assistant Mia was pressed by the rapper's defense attorney Brian Steel why she didn’t accuse Combs of sexual assault during settlement talks in 2017 for unpaid wages.
Mia confirmed that she originally asked for $10 million for bonuses, severance and overtime she says Diddy owed her and never paid, but settled during mediation for $400,000, which was split with her attorneys in 2017.
