Board members ended up tabling a vote on those resolutions to their next meeting.After the May 7 meeting, district administrators released their budget presentation to the public. It can be viewed online here.As part of the presentation, administrators noted that the budget – which still had to be reviewed by the district’s new state monitor – will mean a 5.26 percent tax increase for local homeowners.Property taxes in New Jersey are mainly made up of three parts: school, municipal and county. The local school budget represented about half of that total in Nutley last year, data shows.
