Human Remains, 3 Vehicles Found In Camden Co. River: Prosecutor
PENNSAUKEN, NJ — Human remains were found inside one of three vehicles pulled Thursday from the Cooper River, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.Authorities pulled three submerged vehicles from the river. Detectives discovered a person's remains in the driver-side area of one of the cars, the CCPO said. The remains will undergo DNA testing in efforts to determine the person's identity.The vehicles were found in the river along North Park Drive, south of Kaighn Avenue in Pennsauken, the CCPO said. North Park Drive runs along much of the county park's north side.The FBI assisted at the scene with the United Search Corps Marine Persons Unit and several local, county and state agencies.Anyone with information can contact Det.
