Tori Spelling reveals what her children gifted her for Mother’s Day this year.In the Friday, May 17, episode of her podcast misSPELLING, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 51, revealed with listeners that her children — Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7 — gave her an “un-Mother’s Day” celebration all around Los Angeles.Spelling shares her five children with her estranged husband, Dean McDermott. Spelling filed for divorce in March after they announced their separation in June 2023.At the beginning of the episode, Spelling said that this was her “first Mother's Day, single, going through a divorce, with [her] 5 kids.” “Typically, I would plan something, like, for years,” she began. “I guess we're conditioned to think you're supposed to have Mother's Day brunch. I don't even know where that even initiated."“But every year, I felt the pressure like, ‘Oh, it's Mother's Day. We're supposed to go to a brunch, and I would find some, like, great place and and do that.’ And then the rest of the day was all about the kids,” said Spelling. “I was always on edge. Like, oh, it's a time thing. We can't relax. We have set plans."

Then, Spelling revealed her eldest daughter, Stella, asked her a few times what she wanted to do for the holiday. After she asked one last time the day before, Stella told her mother, “‘No. I don't want you to plan it. I know what you want. Let me handle it.’” “And I said, ‘Really? You're gonna plan something? Oh, my gosh,'” said Spelling, adding how it “takes so much pressure” off her after “all these years” when she’s had to plan something for herself. Stella first took the family to dim sum, which Spelling is “a huge fan of.” “It was really great. And we had a great time, and we had tea and all of that,” added Spelling. “And I had some sake, and I was a happy, happy, happy mama.”
