I wanted to redo my room so had to move the fitted wardrobe, but was stunned when I made a gruesome discovery behind it
A WOMAN who was redoing her bedroom was left feeling “completely sick to my stomach” after making a gruesome discovery during the makeover process.
Kerri explained that she wanted to give her “very boring and very, very white” bedroom a new lease of life with a “cosy, neutral, boho” look.

And while things initially went to plan, they started to go downhill when it came to moving the fitted wardrobe for the first time since they’d been in the house.
“As you can see, there’s a very, very big wardrobe that’s in the corner that actually came with the house, and that is what is gonna cause us a lot of problems,” she said in a video on her TikTok page.
“My original plan was to keep the wardrobe and move it to the wall where the bed is, and move the bed to the wall where the wardrobe is.
“Of course, nothing in life is ever that simple.”
She started painting the other areas of the room, with Natural Hessian paint from Dulux.
Then it was time to tackle the wardrobe, which Kerri began by removing all the contents.
“Me and my partner, we really tried to move it, but it was not budging at all,” she continued.
“I think it had, like, solid wood in the bottom.
“So we did get permission from our landlord that we could actually take it apart. So that’s exactly what we did.
“We had to knock it down, because I think this thing had been budged up over the years, to be honest.
“So this is where stuff got quite weird.”
Moving the wardrobe, Kerri found “dead, crystallized prawns, what look like a fish carcass, anal lube and an anal pump”.
“Honestly, I wish I was making this up, but I’m not,” she insisted.
“Whatever someone was doing with fish and anal lube is concerning to say the least.

“Honestly, I felt completely sick to my stomach that we’ve been sleeping just feet away from that.”
Kerri then cleaned and scrubbed “every inch” of the wall and floor.
“This poor little wall has seen some stuff,” she joked.
“So I’m giving it a fresh lick of pain and just trying to erase all the memories of the past.
“Honestly, I don’t know what some of the previous tenants are up to, but I don’t wanna be no part of it!”
Once she’d finished the painting, Kerri got her partner to put together the flat pack drawers, while she took charge of the decorations around the room.
“That would have scarred me enough to move out completely,” one person commented on Kerri’s video.
“Screaming!!!!!! The finds behind the wardrobe!” another added.
“Never in a million years would I have guessed what was behind that wardrobe!” a third laughed.
