The future Hall of Famer attacked Rhodes following a slit-throat gesture from The Rock, who he’s seemingly teamed up with.
Cena’s sensational villainous turn has lost him millions of fans – including League Two promotional hopefuls Port Vale.
Vale revealed their disowning of Cena and backing of Rhodes in a viral X post.
Quoting a previous post referencing Cena, they wrote: “Following his actions this weekend, we would like to distance ourselves from @JohnCena.
“We can confirm that he will not be involved in this season’s kit launch. We got you, @CodyRhodes.”
Vale’s hilarious tweet spread like wildfire and became the talk of social media.

He posted a picture of the Grand Theft Auto cover before sharing a snap of Harvey ‘Two Face’ Dent from ‘The Dark Knight’.
Dent, of course, famously said in the film: “You either die a hero or you live long enough to become a villain.”
He followed that up with a motivational quote, which she shared on X.
He wrote: “Have the discipline to do what needs to be done, especially when you don’t feel like it.”
