The pop festival of the year is almost here.
Starting Thursday, July 31, Lollapalooza will launch their annual long weekend at Chicago’s Grant Park.
This iteration of the long-running alternative festival — which began way back in 1991 — may be its most mainstream yet with household name hitmakers Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams atop their bill.
However, those that write off the multi-day musical extravaganza due to this powerhouse trio at the top of the lineup are missing out on a diverse array of acts the fest has booked.
They include former Odd Future frontman turned headliner Tyler, The Creator, country stalwart Luke Combs, EDM party-starters Rüfüs Du Sol, heavy rockers Korn (for the first time since 1997) and K-Pop icons Twice (the first female K-Pop group headliners in the fest’s history).

That’s just scratching the surface.
A$AP Rocky, Sierra Ferrell, Dom Dolla, Cage The Elephant and The Marías are just a few of the other major artists scheduled to grace Grant Park.
And, yes, Rebecca Black aka the woman who brought the world the indelible radio staple “Friday” will be there as well. OK, maybe this really is the greatest pop festival of all time.
In total, over 170 performers will bring their singular live shows to the four-day fest.
If this sounds like the Lollapalooza for you, last-minute single and multiple-day passes are still available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on four-day passes was $630.65 including fees on Vivid Seats.
Single-day passes start at $192.11 including fees (which just so happens to be the O-Rod/Korn day).
