The President's List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CTThe Department of Communication, Film, and Theatre at Eastern Connecticut State University held its annual honor society ceremony on April 18, 2024 in the Fine Arts Instructional Center. This year's ceremony included induction into the Lambda Pi Eta national communication honor society and Eastern's inaugural induction for the Alpha Psi Omega national theatre honor society. Among the inductees was junior Kevana Simpson of Windsor, who majors in communication and was inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the official communication honor society of the National Communication Association. As an accredited member of the Association of College Honor Societies, Lambda Pi Eta has 400 active chapters at colleges and universities worldwide.The Department of Health Sciences and Nursing at Eastern Connecticut State University held its annual Phi Theta Delta honor society induction on April 24. Among the inductees was junior Raeann Reid of Windsor, who majors in health sciences.Phi Theta Delta is Eastern's Honor Society for undergraduates in health sciences. In order to be inducted into the honor society, students must have either a junior or senior class standing with a 3.5 GPA in health sciences courses.Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NHNikkia Jones, Nihal Krishnamurti, Thomas Mawdsley, Carolina Gonsalves, Tyana Edwards and Sashae Deer, all of Windsor, were named to the winter 2024 President's List. The winter terms run from January to May. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer. Stacey Tazifor of Windsor has been named to the winter 2024 Dean's List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List.Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MADreivone Townsend of Windsor, a member of the class of 2024 majoring in architectural engineering, recently completed a senior thesis required of all graduating seniors as part of the university's distinctive project-based educational experience.
