A recent stidy by ezCater has claimed that around half of the GenZ workers skip lunch breaks due to overwork or out of guilt. The new study claims that GenZ feels guilty while stepping out of the office space for lunch. According to the 2024 Lunch Report, nearly half of Gen Z respondents, 47 per cent, miss lunch twice or more each week. The report, based on a survey of 5,000 full-time U.S. employees skip lunch primarily due to tight schedules and heavy workloads. The study found that the respondents feared that taking a break during office hours would hinder their ability to complete the work assigned to them.
