Galloway Man Shot, Killed: Prosecutor

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ — Authorities are investigating a shooting that killed a Galloway man Thursday night in Pleasantville.It was just after 11 p.m. on May 9 when Pleasantville police responded to the West Pleasant Avenue home in reference to shots fired, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.Police found Baseem Taliaferro, 38, dead inside the home, authorities said.Taliaferro had at least one gunshot wound to his torso, authorities said, and was pronounced dead on the scene.The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.This incident is currently being investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office's Major Crimes Unit and the Pleasantville Police Department.Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crime Unit at 609-909-7666 or go to the Prosecutor's Office Website at ACPO.Tips and provide information by filling out the form anonymously on the Submit a Tip page.The article Galloway Man Shot, Killed: Prosecutor appeared first on Galloway, NJ Patch.
