GALLERY: Green flag flies at Green Lake for Heritage Cup Championship Round
NEENAH, Wis. — The four teams who will battle for supremacy have learned the playing field for Friday’s Championship Round at the Knighten Industries Heritage Cup Presented by Berkley, the second event of the fall edition of the 2024 General Tire Team Series Presented by Bass Pro Shops.
Team REDCON1 (Ott DeFoe and Andy Montgomery), Team Knighten Industries (Keith Poche and Kelly Jordon), Team Builders Firstsource (Alton Jones and Alton Jones Jr.) and Team Star Tron (Grae Buck and Martin Villa) will compete on Green Lake. After finding out their destination, they had only a few minutes to get geared up to tackle a much deeper, clearer body of water than the fisheries that comprised the Knockout and Championship Rounds — which could result in more smallmouth hitting the scales. Whichever duo figures out Green Lake best on Friday will walk away with $20,000 apiece in addition to the Heritage Cup trophies.
