Miranda Lambert to Launch ‘Music for Mutts’ Benefit Concert
Miranda Lambert is set to blend two of her favorites — music and dogs — when she launches an upcoming benefit concert Oct. 5 in Nashville, all in an effort to raise funds to help animals.
The five-time ACM Awards album of the year winner will welcome many of her animal-loving friends and fellow musicians to join her at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater for a show presented by Tractor Supply Company, with net proceeds from the concert benefiting Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation. The full lineup of participating artists will be revealed at a later date.

Lambert and her mother Bev co-founded the MuttNation Foundation in 2009, and the organization has raised nearly $10 million to date to further its goal of supporting the welfare and adoption of shelter pets across the country. MuttNation also financially supports and aids the work of transport partners to help relocate animals during natural disasters. Additionally, the MuttNation Fueled by Miranda Lambert line of pet toys and supplies, which benefits the MuttNation Foundation, is available exclusively at Tractor Supply Company stores.
“I wanted to do something special to celebrate MuttNation’s 15th anniversary and thought sharing an evening of great music with some great friends that will also feature lots of mutts would be about as much fun as anything I could imagine,” Lambert said in a statement. “We’ll have an adoption event and lots of other activities — and just make it a big party. I hope everyone will come out and party with us.”
Public on-sale for the concert starts May 10 at 10 a.m. CT at livenation.com.
Lambert recently issued her fiery new single “Wranglers” along with the news that she just inked a new label deal with Republic Records, in partnership with Big Loud. “Wranglers” also marks Lambert’s first music released since her 2022 album Palomino.
“‘Wranglers’ is a tale of a woman taking her power back,” Lambert said in a statement when the song was released. “I think we can all identify with the character in this song, because we have all had a time in our life that we needed to find a way to find our strength and also get a little revenge on someone that did us wrong or hurt us.”
