Shorewood's BBQ & Brews Is Being Postponed Due To Weather
SHOREWOOD — Shorewood Village Administrator Aaron Klima notified Joliet Patch on Friday morning that Saturday's third annual Shorewood BBQ & Brews event is being postponed because of anticipated bad weather. The event will be rescheduled in the coming weeks, Klima said. Shorewood BBQ & Brews is a free family-friendly event that was set to happen Saturday from noon to 6 p.m at the village's Towne Center Boulevard.According to the village:This is our 3rd annual BBQ & Brews Presented by Christopher B. Burke Engineering. The event is free to attend, we will have multiple breweries, food trucks and live music. We encourage those attending to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit and listen to the bands. Tasting size pours will be available to try craft beer from the multiple breweries that will be attending.Punch Cards for 3-oz sample size pours can be purchased at the Village of Shorewood Ticket Booth.
