Who is Love Island contestant Omar Nyame?
Omar Nyame is part of Love Island’s 2024 line-up after entering the villa as a bombshell.
A glimpse of his Instagram page hints that the newbie is brimming with confidence and won’t be afraid to step on anyone’s toes.
Omar has shared a number of dapper looking snaps of him wearing designer gear and three-piece suits.
The 25-year-old already has a string of stunning women following him on his Instagram profile, suggesting he’s no stranger to female attention.
He is also friends with rapper and Love Island host Maya Jama‘s boyfriend Stormzy, but reportedly went through the same selection process as the other contestants.
On who he’d most like to share the villa with, Omar said: “Drewskie the American comedian, he’s really funny.
“I’d also like to have Jack Grealish in there because he seems like a proper cool lad, and ladies-wise it would have to be Rihanna.”
On what makes him a catch, he said: “I’m very confident in who I am and my looks.
“I’d like to think the way I can speak to women helps me out because I’m not shy and afraid to say how I feel about them.”
Omar added: “I’m done with messing around and casually seeing girls, I want to find real love.
“I’ve done the whole party thing and dated lots of people but now I’m ready to find the real deal.”
What does Omar Nyame do for a living?
Omar is a PE teacher from Croydon.
He also reportedly works as an events promoter.
Not too much is known about him yet, but we’re sure to get to know him better as the weeks go on.

When is Omar Name going to be on Love Island?
Omar features in season 11 of Love Island, which kicked off on June 3, 2024.
He was first mentioned after the recoupling at the end of the show on Friday, June 7.
The boys had to pick who they wanted to couple up with, and Munveer Jabbal was last to choose out of the guys — he picked Patsy Field.
Mimii Ngulube then received a text telling her she was single, followed by another one saying she’s going on a date.
She read: “Mimi you are now single. Omar is waiting to meet you for your first date.”
Omar’s entrance comes hot of the heels of first female bombshell Uma Jammeh’s villa debut.
How do you watch Love Island 2024?
The launch show aired at 9pm on ITV2 on June 3, 2024.
Episodes are on TV at the same time every evening from Sunday to Friday.
On Saturdays a highlights show is broadcast instead of the main programme.
The Sun previously revealed how Love Island bosses planned a huge shake-up for the launch night by broadcasting the dating show simultaneously across ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX for the first time.
A source said: “ITV want to throw their weight behind Love Island and make sure it has a big, glitzy moment when the 11th series kicks off next month.
“Showing it across every channel means creating what they hope will be a big TV moment. It shows there is still a real commitment to the format even nine years on.”
